So many communities lack access to potable and clean water. As a result, people living in these communities use contaminated water which causes preventable diseases like diarrhea, cholera, and typhoid. Additionally, poor access to water leads to unsanitary practices that facilitate the spread of diseases.

Lack of access to potable water may also mean women and children are forced to walk long distances on dangerous paths to collect water, stealing away time from productive activities like work and school.

That is why we ensure that communities we work in have access to a sustainable source of safe, clean, and affordable water.
