There was no portable water in the L.E.A Primary school in Piyanko, hence children could not wash their hands before and after eating. Additionally, children had to practice open defecation, or leave their schools to get access to water.

Dunes Foundation sunk a borehole in the school to provide clean and portable water. Now the children can be properly hydrated, and eat with clean hands.
